Oh, so R is great for statistical computing? Cool, cool, cool. Array indices starting at 1? Absolutely not. The audacity! The sheer disrespect to every programmer who's been counting from zero since the dawn of time! Like, imagine being a data scientist trying to convince developers to learn R and then hitting them with "btw arrays start at 1 lol" – instant dealbreaker.
