The irony is absolutely delicious. Microsoft, creator of Teams, declares their own remote collaboration tool "inferior" while mandating employees return to office. So the Teams team gets a Teams call about how Teams isn't good enough for the Teams team to use Teams remotely. It's like a chef refusing to eat at their own restaurant because "the food isn't good enough." Nothing says "confidence in your product" quite like telling everyone it doesn't actually work for its intended purpose. Microsoft just pulled the digital equivalent of "do as I say, not as I do" while accidentally creating the most meta workplace paradox possible.

Death's brutal honesty—"MEH, BUT BETTER THAN 8"—is the software equivalent of "you weren't terrible, just aggressively mediocre." Microsoft's cycle of creating a disaster (Windows 8), following it with something less awful (Windows 10), then forcing everyone to upgrade again (Windows 11) is the tech industry's version of planned obsolescence. Pour one out for the OS that spent years desperately trying to convince you that Edge was a real browser.

The sheer AWKWARDNESS of C# and VB.net being forced to sit together like some horrifically arranged marriage! 😭 These two Microsoft languages are basically the definition of "we work for the same company but CANNOT STAND EACH OTHER." They're like those cousins at Thanksgiving who have absolutely nothing in common except their last name. Sure, they both compile to the same intermediate language, but their syntax? Their philosophies? COMPLETELY different universes! C# is all semicolons and braces while VB.net is over there with its verbose "End If" statements like it's getting paid by the word. The tension is PALPABLE!
