Windows 10? Meh. Windows 11? Whatever. Windows 12? Sure, I guess. But Windows 7? Now we're talking—pure bliss on that guy's face. Then comes the punchline: Windows 13, and dude literally can't even look at it anymore.
The progression perfectly captures how developers feel about Microsoft's endless Windows versions. We tolerate the new ones because we have to, but deep down we're still mourning Windows 7—the last OS that just worked without forcing Cortana, mandatory updates, or TPM 2.0 requirements down our throats. And Windows 13? That's the breaking point where you just nope out of existence entirely.
Fun fact: Microsoft skipped Windows 9 because of legacy code checking for "Windows 9*" to detect Windows 95/98. So they went straight to 10. Maybe they should've stopped there.
