You know you've made it as a developer when your entire job description becomes "fixing everyone else's disasters." The standing position is the universal signal that says "I'll just take a quick look" which translates to "I'm about to rewrite your entire function because I can't figure out what you were trying to do." Your back hurts, your dignity is gone, and somehow you're still the hero of the story. The ergonomics of problem-solving: 10% sitting comfortably, 90% awkward hovering while wondering why you didn't become a park ranger instead.
