Evolution didn't prepare us for 8 hours of Jira ticket updates. Maybe the real ergonomic solution is just releasing small rodents across our desks every morning.

Oh sweet merciful bytes! The blue wizard speaks the FORBIDDEN WORDS that have torn apart friendships and destroyed entire Stack Overflow threads! "HTML is a programming language" - the most SCANDALOUS statement in web development history! And just like that, our poor developer is TRAPPED in the most ancient holy war of the internet. Left? Right? There's NO ESCAPE from this syntactic purgatory! The sword of lies has claimed another victim!

You know that debugging technique where you just stare intensely at your code, squinting like you're trying to see through the Matrix itself? Yeah, that's the "hard look" method. It's the programming equivalent of trying to intimidate your bug into submission through sheer willpower and furrowed brows. The logic goes something like: "If I just glare at this stack trace long enough, maybe the universe will take pity on me and the segfault will magically disappear." Spoiler alert: it won't. But hey, at least you look really focused and professional while accomplishing absolutely nothing. This is usually employed right after the classic "run it again and see if it still happens" strategy and right before the desperate "delete everything and start over" phase. The bug remains undefeated, but your forehead wrinkles have definitely leveled up.

Forget "have you tried turning it off and on again" - tech support is just dating with more troubleshooting and less romance. Both involve hours of frustration, miscommunication, and ultimately walking away wondering why you bothered. At least with tech support, you can hang up without getting ghosted first.
