When your server demons are so unruly that divine intervention is the only option left. Nothing says "we've reached a new level of desperation" quite like a priest with a broom performing an exorcism on your Linux server. The command at the bottom ( etc/init.d/daemon stop ) is the technical equivalent of "begone, unholy bugs!" — except with a 50% success rate at best. The other 50%? That's when you start considering a career change to something less haunted, like ghost hunting.

Someone drops the "AI can't replace you if your job never required intelligence" wisdom bomb, and the response is immediate confusion. The reply? "You're safe." Turns out the best job security isn't learning the latest framework or grinding LeetCode—it's being so thoroughly incompetent that AI wouldn't even know where to start. Can't automate what you can't understand. Your move, ChatGPT.

The beautiful irony of tech economics: dropping $400 on 32GB of RAM feels completely justified when you're pulling in modern developer wages, but in the 90s when RAM cost about the same and you were making $5/hour flipping burgers? That was basically financial suicide. The real kicker is that $400 in 1990s money had way more purchasing power than today—that's like $800+ in 2026 dollars. So technically, RAM has gotten cheaper AND we're getting paid way more. The weak doge perfectly captures that "wait, maybe I shouldn't complain about my cushy tech job" realization when you remember your parents somehow survived on pennies while technology cost a fortune. Also fun fact: 16MB of RAM in 1995 could run you $500+, so we're literally living in the golden age of affordable memory while complaining about Electron apps eating 2GB like it's nothing.
