The circle of Windows dependency is brutal. In 2020, we were all clinging to Windows 7 like it was the last stable relationship we'd ever have. "Don't force me to install 10!" we screamed, treating Microsoft's upgrade notifications like a clingy ex. Fast forward to 2025 when Windows 10 support ends, and suddenly we're the desperate ones. "Don't leave me!" we'll sob to Windows 10 as Microsoft shoves Windows 11 (or whatever fresh UI nightmare they've cooked up) down our throats. The true Stockholm syndrome of tech. The joke here is so absurd it's brilliant. Someone's claiming Git, JavaScript, and Microsoft BASIC were all created in a week, and therefore are "perfect software." Meanwhile, the three-headed dragon meme shows the reality: they're all monsters, with JavaScript being the derpy one. For those who've spent years battling Git's cryptic error messages, JavaScript's "undefined is not a function" nightmares, or BASIC's spaghetti code limitations, this is pure comedy gold. These tools took years to develop and are still far from perfect. The date stamp of 2025 is just the cherry on top of this satire sundae. It's the software development equivalent of claiming you can build the Golden Gate Bridge with popsicle sticks over a weekend.

Microsoft's "Stay signed in?" dialog is the tech equivalent of a lying ex. You click "Yes" and check "Don't show this again" hoping for a better tomorrow, but like clockwork, you're greeted with the same damn prompt next session. The checkbox might as well be a placebo button at this point. It's like Microsoft is gaslighting us into thinking we have control over our authentication experience. Spoiler alert: we don't. Your browser cookies? Cleared. Your session? Expired. Your patience? Gone. But hey, at least they asked nicely before wasting your time again tomorrow.
