No More Databases

Ah yes, the "security through simplicity" approach. Why bother with REST constraints, data validation, or SQL injection protection when you can just let users execute raw queries directly against your production database? Nothing says "I trust the internet" like exposing your entire database through a single endpoint. The best part? When your company inevitably gets hacked, you can just blame it on "those pesky hackers" instead of your API that's basically a neon sign saying "DROP TABLES HERE". Bonus points for hardcoding credentials in your source code. Because who needs environment variables when you can just commit passwords directly to GitHub?

SQL devs have somehow convinced themselves that typing everything in ALL CAPS makes their queries more powerful. SELECT * FROM developers WHERE caps_lock = TRUE returns literally everyone in the database world. It's become such muscle memory that they'll reflexively hit Caps Lock before typing anything remotely query-adjacent, even in Slack messages. "HEY CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH..." - calm down Dave, we're just ordering lunch. The real kicker? They'll debate you to death about whether it's "better practice" while the rest of us are just happy our queries run. Meanwhile, their pinky finger has developed Olympic-level strength from constantly hammering that Caps Lock key. It's not a bug, it's a feature of their personality at this point.

Although this may sound strange, we are looking for someone that is starting out on their FM journey that we can mould and train. You are clearly beyond that which may lead to frustrations in what you are being asked to do. Also the locality may be an issue. Content Twotypes of people in Standup Yesterday I fixed an issue that occurred when parsing the JSON object received from fronted, I added the missing keys and created unit tests that cover all scenarios. I enhanced the performance as well by adding some missing joins to the SQL query which reduced the overall loading time of the endpoint.
