Fixed a typo in the docs? Congratulations, your GitHub profile now says "contributr" and your stonks are through the roof. The bare minimum effort yielding maximum self-satisfaction is the cornerstone of modern software development. Nothing says "I'm technically a maintainer now" quite like changing 'teh' to 'the' in paragraph 17.

The sacred order of debugging has been disturbed. For eons, the ancient pact dictated that StackOverflow shall appear first in search results, offering salvation with copy-pastable solutions. Now GitHub shows up first, forcing you to actually read code and understand what's happening. Truly the darkest timeline. Next thing you know, they'll expect us to write documentation.

The stick figure is all of us who've learned this lesson the hard way. Push to production on Friday, and suddenly your weekend becomes an unpaid extension of your work week. Nothing says "I hate my personal life" quite like deploying that "tiny fix" at 4:55 PM on Friday, then spending Saturday debugging while your friends are having fun without you. The universal developer commandment: thou shalt not tempt the deployment gods when happy hour beckons.

That moment when GitHub Copilot helpfully suggests your private API key that you accidentally committed to a repo six months ago. Nothing like having your $5000/month AWS bill exposed by an AI that's just trying to be helpful. Security through obscurity fails again.

Finding *.md in your .gitignore is like discovering your teammate has been secretly ignoring all markdown files. README.md? Gone. CONTRIBUTING.md? Vanished. Documentation? What documentation? Someone on your team decided that markdown files were optional and just blanket-ignored them all. Not specific files. Not build artifacts. Just... all of them. The audacity is almost impressive. It's the git equivalent of "I don't believe in documentation" but making it everyone else's problem. The side-eye is justified. At least have the decency to ignore things properly, one file at a time like a civilized developer.

THE AUDACITY! Just when you're about to push that LIFE-CHANGING commit to save humanity, GitHub's rainbow unicorn of doom appears! 🦄 There you are, frantically refreshing like it'll magically fix itself, as if the unicorn will gallop away if you click hard enough. And that "contact us if the problem persists" suggestion? PLEASE! As if we're not going to try refreshing 47 more times before even CONSIDERING that option! The unicorn might as well be saying "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" while sipping tea and judging your life choices. Meanwhile, your deadline approaches and your will to live decreases with every rainbow-colored second!
