They basically wrote: "This optimization experiment failed spectacularly, but I'm too lazy to remove it right now... if nobody fixes this garbage by 2003, PLEASE NUKE IT." The best part? They're defining NO_USE_BUFFERED_IO and then immediately checking if USE_BUFFERED_IO is defined. It's like building a highway with a "ROAD CLOSED" sign that only appears if you're already driving on it. Somewhere, a developer is still waking up in cold sweats wondering if anyone ever nuked their code. Legacy systems are just ancient burial grounds for our worst decisions.

OH. MY. GOD. The absolute AUDACITY of NVIDIA! 💀 Here we have the mighty GTX 1080Ti, a 7-year-old graphics card, looking down at the new RTX 5050 with all its fancy "3.3GHZ OC, DLSS, MFG" buzzwords and just CACKLING at how pathetic it is! The 1080Ti is basically that grumpy veteran screaming "IN MY DAY, WE HAD REAL VRAM! Not this measly, overpriced, ray-tracing nonsense you call a graphics card!" Imagine spending your life savings on the latest GPU only to be utterly DESTROYED by grandpa's hand-me-down card from 2017. The HUMILIATION! The BETRAYAL! This is why gamers have trust issues!

When your debugging session takes an unexpected turn and your code somehow ends up rendering a Minecraft scene instead of your application. That moment when you're expecting data visualization but get block visualization instead. The compiler took "build environment" a bit too literally.

The duality of a developer's existence laid bare. Spend 8 hours hunched over a keyboard like a gargoyle with deteriorating posture, complaining about back pain and needing a standing desk requisition form... then somehow manage to sit perfectly still for a 12-hour gaming marathon without a single bathroom break. The silence in that last panel is the DEAFENING REALITY that your coding journey has only JUST BEGUN! 😭 That first release is literally just the tutorial level before the REAL boss battles begin - maintenance, user feedback, bug fixes from hell, and the soul-crushing realization that your code will now haunt you FOREVER. Welcome to development purgatory, darling! The grind doesn't end - it just puts on a different outfit!
