When your junior dev casually drops "I'm about to destroy the backend and DB" at 9:40 AM and then goes radio silent, you know it's time to grant emergency PTO. The sheer panic escalating from a missed call to full-on begging with prayer hands is *chef's kiss*. The best part? "I got this! Don't worry. It was a typo" – which is developer speak for "I already pushed to production and we're currently on fire." That "I know but I insist 🙏" at the end is basically management granting immediate leave approval before the incident report has to be filed. Sometimes the best disaster recovery plan is just... not being there when it happens.
