Sure, training GPT-5 might require the power output of a small country, but at least it doesn't spend its first two decades eating chicken nuggets and learning that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. The man's got a point—humans are basically the most inefficient training process ever conceived. Twenty years of calories just to produce someone who'll argue on the internet about tabs vs spaces. Meanwhile, an AI model gets trained in a few weeks and can write Shakespeare, debug your code, and still have energy left over to hallucinate confidently about made-up facts.
