Standing alone in that tiny clearing while literally everyone else crowds around JavaScript is the most accurate representation of choosing niche tech stacks I've ever seen. You picked C++, Swift, or Python when the entire industry is drowning in React jobs and npm packages. Sure, your code actually compiles without 47 polyfills and doesn't need a new framework every Tuesday, but good luck finding someone at the meetup who wants to talk about anything other than the latest JS meta-framework. HTML is there too, probably just happy to be included.
The real kicker? You know JavaScript devs are having the time of their lives with their massive ecosystem and community support, while you're over here reading compiler documentation from 1998. But hey, at least your runtime errors happen at compile time like a civilized language.
