The eternal struggle of being a "user" on your own machine. Linux makes you type sudo to run commands with admin privileges, even though you bought the hardware, installed the OS, and named the damn thing after your childhood pet. Meanwhile, the OS sits there like an overprotective military dictator, monitoring your every move and vaporizing you if you dare ask why you need permission to modify your own system files. The machine doesn't belong to you—you belong to the machine. Just accept it and type your password like a good little user.

Alternate Jurassic Park ending: Dennis Nedry realizes he's the only IT guy maintaining a critical system with actual dinosaurs and demands fair compensation. Hammond reluctantly agrees instead of lowballing him. Movie ends peacefully, no one gets eaten, and the park probably has working door locks. The real horror was the salary negotiation all along.

Oh. My. GOD. The absolute SHADE of this meme! 💀 While other industries see their customers as actual humans, the software industry is over here picturing us as either cartoon villains, suspicious hackers, government spies, or—my personal favorite—LITERAL SERVERS IN A DATA CENTER! The audacity! Like, honey, I just wanted to use your app, not get profiled as a potential national security threat! This is why I have to enter a 27-character password with hieroglyphics and my grandmother's maiden name just to check my email. The paranoia is REAL!

The bell curve of software installation intelligence! On the left side, we have the blissfully ignorant user with an IQ of 55 who just clicks "Express Installation" without a care in the world. In the middle at IQ 100, we have the sweating, paranoid user meticulously reading every custom installation option like they're defusing a bomb. Then on the right side, we have the enlightened 145 IQ user who confidently chooses "Express Installation" because they know that fighting the inevitable bloatware is futile and they can just uninstall it later anyway. The true galaxy brain move is accepting that resistance against PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) is ultimately pointless.

When you ask people about AI safety, you get a perfect bell curve distribution. On the far left, you've got the "AI is dangerous" crowd who probably still think Skynet is a documentary. On the far right, another "AI is dangerous" group—except these folks actually understand transformers and alignment problems. And then there's the massive 68% in the middle who think "AI is entirely controllable" while nervously sweating through their shirt. These are the same people who confidently deploy ChatGPT integrations into production without rate limits. The real joke? Both extremes are technically right, but for wildly different reasons. One watched too much sci-fi, the other read too many research papers. Meanwhile, the middle is just hoping their AI chatbot doesn't start recommending users eat glue on pizza.

GitHub's authentication strategy is like a villain in a noir film: "Please, do enter your password... one last time ." *evil smirk* Nothing says "we care about security" quite like forcing you to type a password they've already decided is obsolete. It's the digital equivalent of making you fill out a form in triplicate just to tell you the office is closed. The transition to token-based auth would be great if they didn't make it feel like you're walking into a trap first.
