Sure, both get the job done, but one makes you feel like you actually know what you're doing while hiding the fact that your debugging strategy is still "throw random text at the console until something makes sense." Fancy logging with timestamps and severity levels is just us pretending we're not still the same confused devs who started with print("here") and print("why god why") .

The absolute AUDACITY of junior devs bringing their deeply nested if-statement monstrosities into code reviews! 💀 Senior devs are literally DYING inside watching these poor souls casually stroll in with their 17 levels of indentation like it's just "a smoothie." HONEY, that's not a smoothie—that's a crime against humanity that would make even the most hardened code reviewer weep! Meanwhile, the senior is standing there having an existential crisis because they spent YEARS learning that anything beyond 2 levels of nesting is basically asking for the debugging equivalent of exploring the nine circles of hell.
