Okay so it hasn't happened yet but due to the nature of some of my projects I already know that it'll happen eventually and I wanna be prepared for that moment. I know that I could just push another commit removing the key but then the key will still be visible in the commit history. I could generate a new key but that will cause some downtime and I want to avoid that. What is the best way to get rid of the key from the commit history without recreating the entire repo?
