The eternal PC vs console debate just got philosophical! This keyboard wisdom hits different because it's painfully true—custom-built PCs are like gateway drugs to endless hardware tinkering. You start with "I just need something to play Fortnite" and suddenly you're researching liquid nitrogen cooling at 2AM while comparing benchmark scores for GPUs you can't afford. The addiction isn't just playing games; it's the never-ending quest for that extra 3 FPS that costs another $300. Console gamers finish games; PC builders finish builds .

When your security system flags your own home network as "suspicious." The IP address 192.168.240.1 is a private IP address that can only be accessed from within your local network—literally your own devices. It's like getting a text from your spouse asking who that stranger in your bed is... while they're lying next to you. The real security threat is apparently the security system itself.

The perfect alibi. Your manager wants you to work, but GitHub is down, which means you literally cannot push code, pull requests are impossible, and your entire CI/CD pipeline is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. The boss storms in demanding productivity, and you just casually deflect with "Github down" like it's a get-out-of-jail-free card. Manager immediately backs off with "OH. CARRY ON." because even they know that without GitHub, the entire dev team is basically on paid vacation. It's the one excuse that requires zero explanation. No need to justify why you're not coding—everyone in tech knows that when GitHub goes down, the modern software development ecosystem grinds to a halt. You could be working on local branches, sure, but let's be real: nobody's doing that. We're all just refreshing the GitHub status page and browsing Reddit until the green checkmarks return.
