Rust To Impose Prima Nocta On Every New Language From their memory-safe castles, the Rust Lords have witnessed a slew of new programming languages, each promising paradigm shifts. But Rust, anchored in its dominion, views these upstarts with scrutiny. "For too long, we’ve witnessed the birth of languages bereft of our holy trifecta – safety, concurrency, and speed," proclaimed Sir Borrow Checkinton, Grand Archivist of Rust. "It’s only right that we bestow upon them the immutable seed of our heritage." As part of the Prima Nocta protocol, young languages must parade through the grand Cargo Registry Hall, their syntax exposed, their libraries laid bare. Languages who refuse this rite will be chastised with severe chastisement, and the fire will be their companion in this life and in the hereafter.
