You know that moment when you open a pull request from six months ago and spend 20 minutes cursing the absolute moron who wrote it? Then you check git blame and... it's you. We've all been there.

Every developer has that mandatory ritual of complaining about the previous dev's code before touching anything. "Who wrote this garbage?" "Why is this function 500 lines long?" "What kind of psychopath uses single-letter variable names?" Then you realize you're literally trash-talking yourself from last Tuesday.

The difference between electricians and us? They at least have the decency to blame someone else. We get to experience the special kind of humiliation that comes with discovering we're both the problem AND the person complaining about the problem.
