Ah, the Linux purist paradox. Proudly declares "MS is bullshit" while mentioning they use Arch (because of course they do), but then gets absolutely triggered when asked about using GitHub (owned by Microsoft), VS Code (Microsoft's editor), or NPM (runs on Microsoft infrastructure). Nothing says "I have principles" quite like selectively applying them only when it doesn't inconvenience your workflow. The cognitive dissonance is strong with this one.

Windows 11 shows up with a novel novel-length list of requirements that would make NASA blush, while Linux just sits there with its cute penguin face basically saying "Got electricity? Cool, we're good to go." After 20+ years in tech, I've seen Microsoft turn simple OS upgrades into hardware shopping sprees more times than I care to count. Meanwhile, Linux is over there running on everything from supercomputers to your abandoned toaster. The "optional" electricity bit is just *chef's kiss*.

The causation is crystal clear: alcohol during pregnancy → 20 years later → unironically thinking Word is a legitimate development environment. The video title "Why Microsoft Word is the best IDE for programming" is either the most elaborate troll in tech history or proof that we've failed as a species. Either way, 465K people watched it, which means humanity's curiosity about terrible ideas remains our most consistent trait. At least they're importing libraries properly... in a word processor. Microsoft really said "let's sprinkle AI on literally everything" and went full Salt Bae mode. Windows? AI. Word? AI. Excel? Believe it or not, also AI. PowerPoint? You guessed it. Teams? Double AI. Even GitHub got the treatment. The Windows logo getting pelted with AI features while every single app icon at the bottom waits for its turn is peak 2023-2024 tech strategy. Nothing says "innovation" quite like renaming your search bar to Copilot and calling it revolutionary. Remember when software just... did things? Now everything needs an AI assistant to help you write emails you don't want to send, generate code you don't understand, and summarize meetings that should've been emails in the first place.
