When your parents think getting you "JavaScript for Kids" is a fun educational activity but you're already having an existential crisis in the Target shopping cart. The kid goes from cautiously optimistic to full-on defeated in three panels, which is basically the exact emotional journey every developer experiences when they realize JavaScript has typeof null === "object" and that's just... how it is.
Starting them young on the path of promises, callbacks, and async/await. Nothing says "family bonding" quite like debugging scope issues and wondering why 0.1 + 0.2 !== 0.3. Kid's probably already contemplating a career in accounting instead.
