Someone at Google just casually left the entire HTML anchor tag with all its attributes sitting right there on the production page like it's a code comment. The link markup is literally displaying as visible text: <a href="/product/pixel_11" class="ql-link" aria-label="Learn more about Pixel 11">Google Pixel 11</a>
Classic rich text editor fail. Someone was probably using a WYSIWYG editor (looks like Quill based on that "ql-link" class), pasted or edited some HTML, and the editor decided to escape it instead of rendering it. Or they're outputting unescaped HTML where they should be using innerHTML but used textContent instead.
The "vibe coder" energy is strong here—just ship it, the vibes are immaculate, QA is optional when you're Google. Somewhere a frontend dev is having a very bad day explaining how this made it past code review, staging, and into production on a major product page.
