The evolution of programmer excuses is a beautiful thing to witness. First, you've got "algorithm" – the fancy word we throw around when we just don't feel like explaining our spaghetti code to the junior dev. Then there's "heuristic" – perfect for when you cobbled together a solution at 3 AM that somehow works but you've genuinely forgotten how. And finally, the boss level: "machine learning" – where even YOU don't know what your code is doing anymore. The model is just vibing in n-dimensional space making decisions while you nod confidently in meetings. The progression is basically: "I won't tell you" → "I can't tell you" → "Hell if I know."

The code creates a sorting algorithm that's technically O(n) but for all the wrong reasons. Instead of actually sorting the array, it's using setTimeout() with the array value as the delay time in milliseconds. The smallest numbers appear first in the console simply because their timeouts complete faster! It's like telling your friends you've invented a revolutionary sorting algorithm, but you're actually just making each number raise its hand after waiting for X milliseconds where X equals its own value. Pure chaotic genius. The browser's event loop is doing the sorting for free! Computational complexity professors are currently rolling in their graves (even the ones who aren't dead yet).

OH. MY. GOD. The absolute AUDACITY of comparing accountants to data scientists! 💅 Just because someone can stare at spreadsheets until their eyeballs bleed doesn't make them a data scientist! The accountant in this image is LITERALLY drowning in columns of dollar amounts while Excel has become their prison and spreadsheets their wallpaper. Meanwhile, actual data scientists are out there building neural networks and pretending they understand what their algorithms are doing! The identity crisis is REAL, people! Next thing you know, my mom who makes pivot tables in Excel will start calling herself a "machine learning engineer." THE HORROR!

The eternal programmer's curse: zero-indexing strikes again! This poor guy shows up at Table 00 thinking he's at the "1st table" because programmers start counting at 0. Meanwhile, his date is at Table 01 (what normal humans call "the first table"). This is why programmers stay single. We can build entire digital worlds but can't figure out how humans number restaurant tables. And they wonder why we need detailed requirements documents...

The bell curve of developer self-awareness strikes again. On the far left, we have blissfully mediocre developers who know they're mediocre and have made peace with it. In the middle, the anxious majority frantically collecting skills like Pokémon cards because some LinkedIn influencer told them to. And on the far right, the enlightened souls who've mastered enough to realize that "mediocre" is just corporate-speak for "has a life outside of Stack Overflow." The true galaxy brain move is accepting your mediocrity while still getting paid the same as the try-hards.
