C++ just lets you shoot yourself in the foot by accident while you're trying to tie your shoes. One is a calculated power move, the other is a Tuesday afternoon debugging session that ends at 2 AM.

The button choices are pure gold: "I'm 18+ (show me the trans code)" or "I'm under 18 (take me to Python)" - implying Rust is somehow the "adult" language while Python is for kids. Finding libraries across random websites, manually downloading tar files, and engaging in ritual combat with CMake until your build inevitably fails. The stick figures are literally hanging themselves in despair. And this is why some of us drink heavily before attempting to add external libraries to C++ projects.

Ah, the great language wars continue. Rust evangelists love to preach about memory safety while conveniently ignoring that you basically have to type "unsafe" every time you need to do anything actually useful. It's like having a car with 15 seatbelts but you have to unbuckle them all just to reach the gas pedal. The irony is delicious - a language designed for safety that forces you to explicitly opt out of that safety to get real work done. Reminds me of that coworker who lectures everyone about clean code but has a "temporary" folder with 5 years of hacks.

Look, I've been in this industry long enough to see some wild takes, but asking if AirPods can translate between programming languages is genuinely next-level thinking. I'd pay $249 for AirPods that can translate my manager's feature requests into actual implementable code.
