Thank God

The face you make when someone creates a 500-line monolithic class that handles authentication, data processing, and UI rendering all at once. Meanwhile, you're sitting there thinking about how those responsibilities could have been neatly separated into functions with proper single responsibility principle. But no... they just had to stuff everything into one giant class because "inheritance is the only design pattern" they bothered to learn in college. The code review is going to be a bloodbath.

Oh, the sweet innocence of writing Python or JavaScript where you can just yeet variables around like confetti at a wedding. Then you meet Rust's borrow checker—the most passive-aggressive code reviewer you'll EVER encounter. Coming from C or C++ where you manually manage memory? "Oh dear, oh dear. Gorgeous." You understand the pain, you respect the discipline. But coming from JavaScript where you've been living your best life with garbage collection? "You f***ing donkey." The borrow checker will absolutely DEMOLISH your soul, reject your code 47 times, and make you question every life choice that led you to this moment. Welcome to memory safety without a garbage collector, where the compiler is both your worst enemy and your only friend.

Game engines: either drowning in endless menus or making you frantically jump through hoops to accomplish basic tasks. The comic nails it by sorting them into just two categories - "menus" (looking at you, Unity) or "parkour" (hello, Unreal). Anyone who's tried to find that one specific setting buried in Unity's seventeen nested dropdown menus knows the pain. Meanwhile, Unreal devs are performing mental gymnastics just to implement a simple "Hello World" blueprint. And poor Unity, getting called out for "jumping around a lot" yet still being classified as "menus" - the ultimate burn for an engine trying so hard to be developer-friendly. It's like being told you dance like a spreadsheet.
