It's like choosing between the high-maintenance date with all the bells and whistles versus the chill one who doesn't need three minutes to load up when you just want to edit a single file. Sure, JetBrains might offer me intelligent code completion that practically reads my mind, but VS Code won't judge me when I write spaghetti code at 2 PM on a Tuesday.
