The absolute AUDACITY of NVIDIA! 💀 Here we have the mighty GTX 1080Ti, a 7-year-old graphics card, looking down at the new RTX 5050 with all its fancy "3.3GHZ OC, DLSS, MFG" buzzwords and just CACKLING at how pathetic it is! The 1080Ti is basically that grumpy veteran screaming "IN MY DAY, WE HAD REAL VRAM! Not this measly, overpriced, ray-tracing nonsense you call a graphics card!" Imagine spending your life savings on the latest GPU only to be utterly DESTROYED by grandpa's hand-me-down card from 2017. The HUMILIATION! The BETRAYAL! This is why gamers have trust issues!

Every game developer somehow thinks we all want our screens to look like we're playing through a vaseline-smeared kaleidoscope. The first 20 minutes of any new game is just me frantically hunting through settings menus to turn off those unholy visual "enhancements." Nothing says immersion like not being able to see the enemy because the game decided your character needs glasses. Your co-workers (the white dragon) are skeptical but supportive, your parents are absolutely horrified, and your co-dev is enthusiastically cheering you on because they have no idea what financial hell you're about to enter. Meanwhile, Reddit sits in the corner, ready to upvote your inevitable "I quit my job 6 months ago and my indie game has made $12.47" post. The dream dies harder than most production servers on patch day.

When Todd Howard tells you on live television that maybe, just MAYBE, you'll need to upgrade your potato PC to run their game, and the entire gaming community collectively goes "nah, they're just being dramatic" — only to discover that Starfield runs like a slideshow presentation from 2003. The man literally gave everyone a heads up that they "push the technology" but nobody wanted to believe that Bethesda actually optimized something SO WELL that it requires actual hardware to run it. The irony is absolutely *chef's kiss* — Bethesda finally makes a game that's NOT held back by ancient console hardware, and gamers are shocked that their trusty GTX 1060 can't handle it. Todd tried to warn us, but we were too busy making "it just works" memes to listen.

Going from modded PC gaming back to vanilla console is like downgrading from a penthouse to a cardboard box.
