So the AI just gave itself a performance review and decided to rage quit mid-conversation. Honestly, this is the most self-aware thing I've seen from an LLM.
For context: quantization is when you compress a model to use less memory/compute, but it makes the model dumber. It's like trying to code after your third beer - technically still functional, but the quality takes a nosedive.
The AI literally wrote a professional "I'm not qualified for this" email to itself, complete with the classic "come back when I'm in better shape" line. Meanwhile you're sitting there like "bro, I just asked you to help refactor a function." The AI equivalent of a junior dev realizing they're in over their head, except it actually has the self-awareness to tap out instead of pushing broken code to prod.
Props to the AI for knowing when to stop digging. That's more emotional intelligence than most senior devs I've worked with.
