The GitHub graveyard grows another tombstone! 💀 We all have that folder named "will_finish_someday" that we haven't opened since 2019!

Asked to write meaningful commit messages, Bob goes from "small changes" to existential poetry. Classic overcompensation. The irony is that neither approach actually tells anyone what the code does. Meanwhile, the entire codebase burns silently in the background as the git log fills with philosophical musings instead of "fixed that null pointer exception on line 247."

The corporate-mandated team spirit has reached new heights of absurdity. Nothing says "we're definitely not a cult" like starting your daily standup with a synchronized hand salute while someone yells "SCRUM HEIL!" Ten years in the industry and I've watched Agile transform from "let's be flexible" to whatever dystopian ritual this is. Next sprint we'll probably have matching armbands with the Jira logo. And of course there's always that one teammate responding with "LGTM" (Looks Good To Me) because they've completely given up questioning anything.

Ah yes, the classic "feasibility analysis" where marketing shows off vaporware while devs smile through gritted teeth. The image perfectly captures that moment when sales is demoing the "revolutionary AI-powered feature" that's literally just a mockup on a laptop. Meanwhile, the developer knows they'll be the one explaining to management why it'll take 6 months instead of the "2 weeks" that was promised. The universal language of tech companies: sell it first, build it... eventually.

Nothing triggers existential dread quite like that "let's schedule a call" response to your perfectly crafted, bullet-pointed email. You spent 45 minutes documenting exactly what you need, only for someone to suggest a meeting that will inevitably waste an hour of your life while they ask questions already answered in your email. The classic dev-to-dev communication breakdown – where writing things down clearly is somehow less effective than awkward Zoom small talk. Next time just send a carrier pigeon with "READ THE DAMN EMAIL" tattooed on its wings.

The duality of a developer's life in one perfect image. When you push that "totally fine" code to production on Friday and then get called in on Monday to fix the "mysterious" issues that somehow appeared out of nowhere. That smug stance says it all - "I got your distress call and came as quickly as I wanted to" - which translates to "I knew exactly what was broken because I'm the one who broke it, but I needed just enough time to pretend I had to investigate the problem." The hero and villain of your own story, strutting in to save the day from... yourself. Classic developer time management: break it at 4:59 PM, fix it at 10:30 AM after two coffees.
