Eight years as a tech lead and I've yet to encounter documentation that doesn't require three Stack Overflow tabs and a direct message to the one dev who wrote it (who conveniently left the company three years ago). The real senior dev move? Skimming the docs, then reverse-engineering how it actually works.

The snake eating its tail is literally the perfect metaphor here—we're so obsessed with automation and efficiency that we've circled back to creating the very thing that'll make us obsolete. The real kicker? We're doing it with a smile, calling it "innovation" and "disruption" while polishing our resumes in incognito mode. At least when the AI overlords take over, they'll remember we were the ones who built them with love, Stack Overflow answers, and way too much coffee.

Young, beautiful Rose from Titanic being told "just one more bug to fix" before her date, only to transform into elderly Rose STILL WAITING for that same developer to finish debugging! 💀 The eternal lie every programmer tells themselves and their loved ones! "Just one more bug" is literally the biggest relationship-destroying phrase in tech history. That single bug multiplies into 57 bugs, 3 system crashes, and a complete architecture redesign at 3 AM! Meanwhile, your significant other ages DECADES waiting for you to close your laptop and actually show up to dinner. The only thing more infinite than a recursive function with no base case is the time it takes to fix "just one more bug"!

College professors living in 2010. Rejecting modern frameworks and buzzwords with a dismissive hand, but absolutely glowing at the prospect of making students implement bubble sort for the 47th time. Nothing says "preparing you for the industry" like coding algorithms nobody's written from scratch since the Bush administration.
