Client hands you a "specification" that supposedly explains everything. You open it up and it's literally just "Two Zero Two Four" written out in words. Now you're staring at four different interpretations (2024, 0044, 0024, 2044) like a contestant on a game show who forgot to study.

The specification is so vague it could mean literally anything, and you're expected to just... know which one they meant. Spoiler alert: whichever one you pick will be wrong, and they'll act shocked that you didn't read their mind through the three-word document they sent at 4:57 PM on Friday.

Requirements gathering is just corporate gaslighting with extra steps.
