Every board meeting in 2024 be like: "We've got AI, we've got profit goals, and somewhere in the middle is... uh... we'll figure it out." The classic South Park Underpants Gnomes business plan has returned, except now it's wrapped in a shiny AI buzzword package. Companies are throwing machine learning models at everything hoping something sticks, while investors nod approvingly because the magic letters "AI" appeared in the quarterly report. The best part? Phase 2 used to be "???" but now it's "AI integration" which somehow sounds more professional while being equally vague. We've gone from "blockchain will save us" to "AI will save us" without learning a single lesson about having an actual business model.
