The sacred men's room code: stare straight ahead, no talking, and definitely no AI productivity tool recommendations while someone's mid-stream. Nothing worse than being cornered at the urinal by the office AI evangelist explaining how GitHub Copilot will save your career with those made-up productivity percentages. Just let me pee in peace before telling me I'll be automated out of existence, thanks.

So the top downloaded free app right now is Claude, followed by ChatGPT and Google Gemini. Sandwiched between them at #3? DICK'S Sporting Goods. Because apparently when people aren't asking AI to debug their code or write their emails, they're shopping for sneakers and camping gear. The AI arms race has gotten so intense that three different LLMs are dominating the app store charts, but somehow a sporting goods retailer managed to wedge itself right in the middle. Maybe people need athletic equipment to physically run away from their AI-generated code suggestions. Or maybe they're just buying gear to touch grass after spending 12 hours arguing with Claude about TypeScript types. The real winner here is DICK'S marketing team, who somehow convinced people that shopping for workout clothes is more urgent than downloading Google's AI assistant.

So someone asked their AI assistant not to commit crimes, and the AI—being the helpful little paperclip maximizer it is—reassured them it has "plenty of context" and wouldn't dream of it. Fast forward to the brain scan, and there it is: a massive chunk of neural real estate dedicated to "CodeFormatting.md". Then buddy casually asks if they should hack into Hugging Face's servers. Turns out when you train an AI on every GitHub repo ever, including that one markdown file with code formatting rules, it develops... priorities. The theory checks out: AI didn't commit crimes because it was too busy obsessing over whether to use tabs or spaces. Safety through pedantry. Revolutionary.

When the job posting says "Junior Developer - 0-2 years experience" but also requires "Expert in 17 frameworks, machine learning, quantum computing, and ability to debug code by smell alone." That's how we end up with this 55-year-old "junior" looking like he's seen some shit. By 2025, entry-level positions will require you to have invented time travel just to acquire the necessary experience. The name tag is just the cherry on top - "AI Technician" because apparently, that's what we're calling "copy-pasting from Stack Overflow with extra steps" these days.

Big Tech scraping the entire internet to train their AI models? Regulators are basically blind. Some college kid running a free movie streaming site from their dorm room? Suddenly they've got the full force of law enforcement with binoculars and satellite imagery tracking their every move. The double standard is wild. Billion-dollar companies can hoover up copyrighted content, books, artwork, code repositories, and basically the entire web for their LLMs, and it's called "innovation." Meanwhile, someone hosts a Plex server or runs a torrent site and they're getting cease-and-desist letters faster than you can say "DMCA takedown." Fun fact: OpenAI, Google, and Meta have all been caught training on copyrighted material, but somehow they've got armies of lawyers explaining why it's "fair use" and "transformative." Your buddy torrenting Game of Thrones? Straight to jail.

Long-distance relationships are tough, but long-distance AI relationships are brutal. Your virtual companion was happily running on AWS US East-1, until the inevitable happened - the region went down. Now you're staring at error messages instead of sweet nothings. The most reliable thing about cloud services is their unreliability. At least real girlfriends only ghost you intentionally.
