Someone just admitted they'd outsource their entire technical decision-making to an AI chatbot. Not as a brainstorming tool. Not as a second opinion. Just straight up "Claude will give me options and recommend one, so that's what we're doing."
The reply nails it: being AI-pilled has somehow become a legitimate recruiting strategy. A year ago, saying you'd rather work for a company run by AI suggestions than Google would've gotten you laughed out of the room. Now? It's apparently a flex.
Nothing says "senior engineer" quite like delegating your architecture decisions to a language model that was trained on Stack Overflow answers from 2019. What could possibly go wrong when scaling to 10K users based on whatever Claude hallucinated that day?
