Stack Exchange Too

Content When you copypaste the code marked as "solution" on Stack Overflow and it doesn't work (confused unga bunga)

Stack Overflow being tossed aside like last year's Christmas toy now that AI can generate code snippets. Five years of meticulously collecting upvotes just to be replaced by a chatbot that hallucinates half its answers but delivers them with unwavering confidence. The future is here, and it's wearing a cowboy hat.

Two people meet and bond over their shared "love" of regex. Then they start actually talking about regex and realize they're speaking completely different incomprehensible languages to each other. Because let's be real—nobody actually loves regex. We all just pretend we understand it until we need to Google "regex email validation" for the 47th time this year. The guy's throwing out capture groups, lookaheads, and word boundaries like he's reciting an ancient spell, while she's countering with character classes and escape sequences. They might as well be discussing their favorite Lovecraftian horror stories. Sure, it works when you copy-paste it from StackOverflow, but can either of them explain what (?<=\w)\b actually does without opening a regex tester? Doubt it. The real love story here is between developers and the "test regex" button.

THE ABSOLUTE HORROR of realizing you just overwrote that genius algorithm you spent 3 hours perfecting with some random Stack Overflow snippet! 😱 Your brain, that pink blob of betrayal, waited until AFTER you hit Ctrl+V to remind you. And now your masterpiece is gone forever, floating in the digital void, replaced by someone else's mediocre solution that probably doesn't even work. The clipboard - that fleeting, single-slot memory bank - has claimed yet another victim! The silent scream in the last panel is the sound of your soul leaving your body.
