Sure, your senior dev might cry when they see your variable names, and yes, future-you will probably hate past-you for that lack of documentation. But if the feature shipped and the users are happy, congratulations—you wrote good code. The real bad code is the code that doesn't exist because you spent 6 hours bikeshedding over whether to use a factory pattern or a builder pattern.
