BGP peering being described as something "even friends can do" is the networking equivalent of saying "even friends can perform open-heart surgery together." Sure, technically possible, but someone's definitely getting hurt. For the uninitiated: BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) is how the entire internet routes traffic between autonomous systems. It's the protocol that literally holds the internet together, and misconfiguring it can take down chunks of the web (looking at you, Facebook 2021 outage). Setting up BGP peering between networks requires trust, technical competency, and usually involves at least three conference calls where nobody's mic works properly. The idea that you'd casually BGP peer with your buddy like you're sharing Netflix passwords is both adorable and terrifying. "Hey bro, wanna exchange routing tables?" is not normal friend behavior. That's enterprise-level commitment right there.

Ah, posting your private key on the internet. The digital equivalent of leaving your house keys under the doormat... except the doormat is in Times Square with a neon sign pointing to it. Forget P vs NP and the halting problem! The real unsolved mysteries of computer science are the everyday nightmares we pretend don't exist. That moving button that plays hard-to-get just as you're about to click it? Pure evil. And don't get me started on trying to send a simple file between devices—apparently easier than putting humans on Mars, yet somehow still impossible without sacrificing a mechanical keyboard to the tech gods. My personal favorite: web developers somehow making simple text and images consume more memory than the entire Apollo mission. Because nothing says "modern web" like needing 16GB of RAM to read a recipe.

Ah, the classic production server meltdown scenario. Nothing triggers the fight-or-flight response quite like hearing those dreaded words: "Who was working on the server?" That's when you suddenly develop superhuman speed and peripheral vision loss.
