The Xbox acquisition spree in a nutshell! Microsoft sees developers drowning in cash problems and swoops in like a corporate superhero with acquisition offers. "Got money troubles? We can fix that!" Meanwhile, their wallet is open wider than their Windows update notifications. The gaming industry's sugar daddy keeps collecting studios like I collect unfinished side projects. Next thing you know, they'll own the rights to your childhood memories and charge a subscription fee.

The eternal Windows divide: normal humans who keep their taskbar at the bottom like civilized beings, and those absolute psychopaths who move it to the side. You know who you are. You probably also use light mode IDE and put pineapple on pizza. Side-taskbar people will defend their choice with "but I have an ultrawide monitor" or "it's more efficient for vertical screen space" – yeah, and serial killers probably have their reasons too. The rest of us just want to click the Start button where God and Bill Gates intended it to be: bottom left corner, always has been, always will be.

Ah yes, the classic "spot the innovation" game. Windows Vista with its groundbreaking Aero Glass interface from 2007 sits next to macOS 26, which apparently took design notes from... checks notes... Windows Vista. After 15+ years, Apple's revolutionary UI changes have circled back to what Microsoft did when everyone still had flip phones. Tech innovation is just a flat circle where we wait long enough for translucent interfaces to become retro-cool again. Corporate wants you to spot the difference between these two groundbreaking designs, but there isn't one. Just two companies repackaging the same shiny glass effect and charging premium prices for the privilege.

Internet Explorer just delivered the most savage comeback in browser history. Sure, it might take IE five minutes to load a single webpage, but at least it responds faster than that person who left you on read three weeks ago. The emotional damage is so severe our poor developer can't even sleep at night. Nothing hurts more than when the slowest browser in existence points out you're getting ghosted harder than a deprecated API. Brutal efficiency where it counts!

Oh. My. GOD. The ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE of game development on Windows! 😭 That poor game dev is being CRUCIFIED by the unholy scattered mess of Windows save directories! Is your game data in Documents? AppData? User folder? Program Files? WHO KNOWS?! It's like Microsoft intentionally designed a scavenger hunt that NOBODY asked for! The struggle is TOO REAL when you're trying to find where that ONE critical save file decided to hide itself. And don't even get me started on the THREE different AppData folders! Local? LocalLow? Roaming? PICK A LANE, WINDOWS!
