Installing Drivers 101

Installing Drivers 101
The classic illusion of choice in software installations! You're given two options - "Express Installation" which you reject because it sounds suspiciously like it'll install 17 toolbars and change your homepage. Then there's "Custom Installation" which you eagerly select to maintain control... only to discover it has exactly the same options as Express. It's like when you spend 10 minutes carefully configuring installation settings just to end up with the default configuration anyway. The software equivalent of asking "Do you want it my way or... also my way but with extra clicks?"

The Indie Game Keybinding Nightmare

The Indie Game Keybinding Nightmare
Every gamer knows that moment of pure joy discovering a fantastic indie game, only to have it crushed when you realize you can't remap those damn mouse buttons. You're stuck with the developer's bizarre idea that M4/M5 should trigger self-destruct or open your inventory when you just want them for weapon switching. Ten years of software engineering experience and I still can't fathom why key rebinding is treated like some exotic luxury feature. It's literally a hashmap, people. A HASHMAP.

Desktop Goals: Orbital File Management

Desktop Goals: Orbital File Management
Someone went full cosmic with their desktop wallpaper, placing app icons around a planet like it's some kind of orbital display. Looks cool until you realize half your shortcuts are hiding on the dark side of the freaking planet. The real punchline is in the comments – "Wait 12 hours and they'll be at the front." That's desktop management in 2023: waiting for planetary rotation to access Chrome. And they say Windows file management couldn't get worse!

Just Two More Plugins

Just Two More Plugins
The eternal addict's bargaining of every developer who claims their text editor will eventually rival VS Code after "just one more plugin." Neovim users are particularly guilty of this behavior—installing 47 plugins to get functionality VS Code ships with out of the box, then spending 3 days configuring it all in Lua just to feel superior while editing the same 5 files. The tears really sell the desperation.

I Use Arch Btw

I Use Arch Btw
The ultimate "don't touch my stuff" starter pack for Linux elitists! Split keyboards, weird ergonomic mice, and the Arch Linux logo - because nothing says "I'm better than you" quite like a setup that requires a PhD to understand. Arch users have mastered the art of making their computers so intimidating that no one dares ask to check their email on it. Smart move - saves them from having to explain why they spent 3 days configuring a desktop that still occasionally crashes when they try to print something.
