New Node Library Goes Brrrr

Standing alone in that tiny clearing while literally everyone else crowds around JavaScript is the most accurate representation of choosing niche tech stacks I've ever seen. You picked C++, Swift, or Python when the entire industry is drowning in React jobs and npm packages. Sure, your code actually compiles without 47 polyfills and doesn't need a new framework every Tuesday, but good luck finding someone at the meetup who wants to talk about anything other than the latest JS meta-framework. HTML is there too, probably just happy to be included. The real kicker? You know JavaScript devs are having the time of their lives with their massive ecosystem and community support, while you're over here reading compiler documentation from 1998. But hey, at least your runtime errors happen at compile time like a civilized language.

The classic development dilemma captured in architectural form! What we're seeing is a housing complex with perfectly constructed facades but completely empty in the middle—just like when your beautiful UI is ready to go but has absolutely nothing to connect to. This is the software equivalent of building a Ferrari body with no engine. Those gorgeous buttons? They do nothing. That slick animation? Connects to a void. Your pixel-perfect dropdown menu? It's just dropping down into the abyss. Every full-stack developer has felt this pain—frantically building APIs while the design team proudly shows off the shiny interface that's supposedly "ready for integration." Meanwhile, the data models are still sketches on a whiteboard somewhere.

Python's having an existential crisis while JavaScript is just vibing with string math. The expression '3'-'1' in Python throws a tantrum because strings can't be subtracted (how dare you try to violate type rules!). Meanwhile, JavaScript's like "2, duh" because it'll happily convert your strings to numbers and do the math anyway. Classic JavaScript - solving problems you didn't know you had by creating problems you never wanted. That traceback is the sound of Python's dignity remaining intact while refusing to do your questionable arithmetic.
