GitHub really out here trolling the entire dev community by offering to ship your repos on physical CD-ROMs. Because nothing says "continuous deployment" like waiting 5-7 business days for USPS to deliver your code.
The genius part? They're playing on the CI/CD acronym while simultaneously mocking our collective nostalgia for physical media. "Pass it on to your children" - yeah, right next to the AOL installation discs and floppy drives nobody asked for.
Best part: "Your code is physically yours, forever. Until you lose it." That's basically every backup strategy I've ever seen in production. At least when the cloud goes down, you can still read your spaghetti code from a shiny disc like it's 1999.
