Remember kids, with great power comes absolutely zero responsibility and potentially several emergency meetings.

That moment when your code review turns into an interrogation session. "I see you've implemented this feature without documentation... interesting . Now, before I approve your PR, tell me what you thought about that React conference keynote? Didn't catch it? What a shame. Looks like this merge might take a while..." The dark side of open source maintainers that GitHub doesn't want you to see.

Oh. My. God. The AUDACITY! Someone just casually announced they're abandoning Git for... EXCEL?! 💀 That face in the bottom panel is literally every developer's soul leaving their body. It's the universal "did I just hear what I think I heard?" expression when someone suggests replacing a sophisticated version control system with spreadsheet hell. The duality of development: what makes it work versus what you claim made it work.

The security admin proudly sets up branch protection requiring admin approval for all code changes. Meanwhile, the intern is confused about needing a +1 approval while the senior dev is like "lgtm, ship it" despite the code clearly containing an API key hardcoded in plain text with debugging logs printing credentials. Security theater at its finest - the branch is protected but the data sure isn't.

Ah yes, the two types of developers in their natural habitat. One proudly declares "I'm merging it. fuck the tests" with the confidence of someone who's about to create tomorrow's emergency hotfix. Then there's the reply guy claiming "writing testcases for your code is doubting your own coding abilities. it's a sign of weakness." This is the software development equivalent of saying "helmets are for cowards" while riding a motorcycle blindfolded. Future you will be sending past you very strongly worded Slack messages at 2AM when production catches fire.
