Front-end developers are out here anthropomorphizing CSS properties like they're Pokémon. The joke is that each CSS property has a "full name" and an abbreviated "nickname" that devs use:
text-emphasis-style: sesame
→ TESS
shape-inside: auto
→ SIA
text-orientation: mixed
→ TOM
And then there's align-self: stretch
who's clearly had it with this naming convention nonsense. The character is literally stretched vertically, looking miserable about the whole situation.
Seven years into my career and I still have to Google "how to center a div" but sure, let's pretend we're on a first-name basis with these properties.
