Remember when we thought the GPU shortage was bad? Fast forward to 2025 where a junior dev's entire salary buys you this luxury stone-crafted setup with genuine smile-based UI. The irony is this rock PC probably runs Windows 11 better than my actual machine. At least it's not constantly pestering you about Microsoft account login—the stone age had its perks. Honestly, with cloud computing prices skyrocketing faster than housing, this might be the most economically sound dev environment. Bonus: it doubles as home decor that says "I've completely given up on affording actual tech."

Windows offering you two identical Outlook options, one labeled "New" and the other "(new)". Because apparently Microsoft needs to clarify which version of new is the newest new. Next update they'll probably add "Outlook (new)(er)" and "Outlook (newest)(for real this time)". Nothing says enterprise software like making users play "spot the difference" before checking their email.

Microsoft's login system asking if you want to stay signed in, promising to "reduce the number of times you are asked to sign in." Then there's the "Don't show this again" checkbox. Spoiler alert: you'll see this dialog tomorrow. And the day after. And every single day until the heat death of the universe. These checkboxes are basically digital placebos. You click them with hope in your heart, believing this time will be different. It never is. Microsoft will ask you to sign in again before you finish your coffee. The checkbox might as well say "Click here to feel momentarily empowered before we ignore your preferences entirely." The "Yes" button to stay signed in? Also decorative. Your session will expire faster than milk left on a radiator.

THE AUDACITY! You just want to shut down your PC and call it a day, but NOOO! Windows has to pull the ultimate betrayal! "Update and shut down" or "Update and restart"? WHERE IS MY REGULAR SHUT DOWN BUTTON, YOU MONSTER?! It's like asking for a simple glass of water and being handed a choice between lukewarm tea or sparkling vinegar. And the timing? IMMACULATE. Always when you're rushing to a meeting or your laptop battery is at 2%. Your computer basically holding you hostage while it performs its little software dance that will inevitably break something that was working perfectly fine before. The digital equivalent of "I know you're trying to leave, but first let me tell you about my day in EXCRUCIATING DETAIL."
