When your authentication system is so secure, it needs to authenticate itself before authenticating users. On the right: the efficient programmer who uses if(!bool) because why waste precious milliseconds typing equality operators when the logical NOT operator does the exact same thing? This dev probably names variables like 'x' and finishes week-long projects in a day. Both snippets are functionally identical, but the right side just screams "I know what I'm doing and I value my wrist health."

The true horror of JS type coercion in its natural habitat.
