Nothing says "professional software naming convention" quite like macOS getting "Swoomp" while Windows gets blessed with "Internet Manager 6 Extreme" (which honestly sounds like a browser from 2003 that came bundled with malware). But Linux? Linux devs looked at the keyboard, looked at their coffee, looked back at the keyboard, and said "you know what? klitoris." Because when you have the freedom of open source, apparently you also have the freedom to make HR uncomfortable. The beauty of Linux naming is that nobody can stop you. No marketing team. No focus groups. No corporate overlords worried about brand perception. Just pure, unfiltered developer chaos. Meanwhile macOS devs are out here making sounds like they're naming Pokemon, and Windows devs are still living in the era when adding "Extreme" to anything made it cool. Fun fact: Linux has a rich history of questionable naming choices. There's a reason Gimp exists and nobody's renamed it yet, despite decades of suggestions.
