You're essentially feeding requirements to developers like prompts to an AI, hoping they interpret your vague user stories correctly, and then acting surprised when sprint planning turns into a philosophical debate about what "done" actually means. The product owner really IS just prompt engineering humans instead of LLMs. "As a user, I want to be able to..." is just a fancier version of "Write me a function that..." The daily standups? That's just checking if the model is still training or if it's stuck in an infinite loop. And retrospectives? Error logs with feelings.

Remember when the web was just static HTML? Those were simpler times. Now we're over here connecting Redux thunks to Suspense while our node_modules folder consumes half our hard drive space. JavaScript started as a tiny language to make form validation less painful, but somehow evolved into this monster where your shopping cart app needs 807 dependencies just to render "undefined apples please" to the screen. The best part? We've collectively convinced ourselves this is normal. Meanwhile, Flash—problematic as it was—is dead, but we've replaced it with an ecosystem so complex that half the developers using it don't understand what's happening under the hood. But hey, at least we can run JavaScript everywhere now. Even places it absolutely shouldn't be.

Concrete walls? Check. Folding table from 2007? Check. Gaming PC that costs more than the entire room? Absolutely check. When your priorities are perfectly aligned - spend $3000 on a water-cooled RGB beast while sitting on a chair that looks like it survived the apocalypse. The basement development environment where code flourishes but ergonomics go to die. Remember: you're not a real developer until your workspace looks like a bunker and your back feels like it's been through three software migrations.
