On the left: beautiful matrix multiplication with row and column vectors elegantly combining to form the product matrix. On the right: PHP, a language that's been around since 1995 and somehow still powers like 77% of the web despite everyone constantly roasting it. The joke here is that no matter how complex your mathematical algorithms are, they're probably gonna end up running on some ancient PHP codebase that's been held together with duct tape and prayers since the MySpace era. You can have the most sophisticated linear algebra operations, but at the end of the day, they're getting served by a language where array functions can't decide if they want underscores or not (array_map vs arraymap anyone?). Spoiler alert: PHP wins. It always wins. Not because it's better, but because it refuses to die. It's the cockroach of programming languages.
