You spend hours architecting this beautiful, elegant solution in your head. It's going to be clean, efficient, maybe even award-winning code. The majestic lynx prowling through the snow—that's your vision.
Then you actually run it and watch it waddle around like a confused house cat trying to figure out why NullPointerException exists. The gap between intention and execution has never been more visible. Bonus points if it somehow works on your machine but breaks everywhere else, because of course it does.
The real kicker? Sometimes the derpy cat version is actually what ships to production because "it works" and nobody has time for refactoring. Ship it and pray.
