Icons so generic you need to read the label to know what app you're opening. The "gold" represents modern design—technically polished, aesthetically "clean," but utterly soulless. The trollface represents you, weaponized and dangerous, because at this point you've accepted your fate and learned to laugh maniacally while watching everything crash during the Monday morning standup. Nothing says corporate life quite like being held hostage by vendor lock-in while pretending everything is fine.

Microsoft's product strategy in a nutshell. They're like that friend who "fixes" your perfectly working setup by removing the stuff you actually use and adding bloat nobody asked for. Windows users watching in horror as another update replaces functional tools with AI assistants that can't assist with anything except sending your data to the mothership.
